Oral or pill Sedation
It’s important that patients are comfortable for the entire duration of sedation. It’s common for the patient to remain conscious throughout the procedure, could also fall into a light sleep, and have little to no recollection of the treatment afterward. This type of sedation is typically used for longer and more complicated dental procedures. The effects of pill sedations can last up to hours so transportation must be arranged for after the patient has been released from treatment.
